My BSNL provided ADSL2 modem was damaged due to lightening. I decided to purchase a new ADSL2 modem. I have a DLink Wireless router and happy with it. Hence I started looking for D-Link ADSL2 modem.

As a regular customer of Flipkart, I found this product and read all the review comments. The review comments helped me to select this product. Similar to the experience of others, I was also excited with this ADSL2 modem. Installation took only 5 minutes, very easy!

Dlink web page lists many features which are not supported by this modem. One of them is DDNS which helps you to access your modem/router and local desktop machines over internet. This product is shipped with old 2010 version. You need to upgrade FW to enable other features. This is really good ADSL modem for basic features and considering other competitor options I guess this is good choice if you know how to upgrade firmware else go for ADSL+wifi router.

I bought it thinking this was a wireless router (my bad). However it works great as a wired broadband modem.

The model displayed in website does not match to the product dispatched. It is old stock packed in July 2010.

Bought this to use for BSNL DSL internet connection - so that I can give BSNL modem back. This works fine without any problems. I am using this with D-link Wireless-N 300 Router, and the combo is certainly better than the BSNL wifi router - I used to have problems with connection dropping and couldn't stream movies from laptop to PS3 before.

The new setup, I've barely seen any connection dropping issues - once in more than a month of usage.
