A home router for 3G routing

Hi,

I bought his device from flip kart after a day or two search.This device can be useful for two things

1.To share your Broadband internet connection
2.To share your 3G dongle internet connection(for device compatibility check with Dlink before buying as it is new model the device details are not available in internet.

Note:You cant share the internet through a wired connection to more than one device as it has only one LAN port.

Decent product

I got this to use with my Dlink DWP157 data card so I could share my 3G internet with phone & tablet. The wifi signal strength is good but not strong. It is useful if you want to use this product for a single room. Also, it's supposed to have three connection mode types in its settings. I only found two: auto & manual, the connect when needed option is missing.

Overall build quality is decent, a little pricy for what it is & does though, I paid 1260/- for it.

serves the purpose

i ordered the router from flipkart for my 3g !dea netsetter dongle to create wifi zone. Does what it says. i was having problem to set a password for it so called dlink customer care and they were very helpful. if you are thinking of buying one, 3 things to be kept in mind:

1) check the list of supported dongles from the dlink website.if your dongle is not supported,contact dlink / flipkart to see if list is updated.

2) wifi range is a bit smaller. not more than 3 rooms. strong signal in ...

My purpose of buying D-Link DWR-111 router was to use my SIM unlocked Data Card for sharing internet through WIFI. This is an excellent and extremely light and portable router which support 3G dongle , LAN and wan.

Pros:
1. Supports 3G data card both sim locked data card ( tata photon , reliance netconnect etc.) and SIM UNLOCKED data card

Compact, easy to carry any where, I am using reliance net connect dongle, browsing and download speed is as good as 3 G, for activation taken help from customer care of D-Link. just what i wanted

Meets expectations. This little router about the size of two credit cards meets my requirement for home networking and wifi internet on my laptop as well as mobile without any hassle. I bought this 3g router as an alternative to expensive wired broadband which is difficult to maintain and as the wires get cut often in my area. In my opinion this a better solution as it supports my existing bsnl dongle and as i dont want to spend more on another dongle. The wifi range is good for a 1 bhk apart...
