A great device
It's a great device if you don't want to have a data connection for every device you own. You can easily save a lot by buying WiFi only tablets and going for a single data plan instead of multiple. It's size means that it can be carried anywhere without any hassle. The battery life is decent. It lasts 6-7 hours or perhaps more - this was my first discharge cycle.

The product supports a 3G SIM card and can give high speeds in areas where you have good 3G connectivity. Falls back to lower speed connections like Edge and 2G if that's
all that's available.
- The web-based configuration interface is nice and intuitive.
- You can turn off wifi to save power if you are using usb connectivity. (Functions like

- You can install firewalls and filters.

its a good product which support 3G SIM
This product is really good. Lookwise its awesome. Its very compact too.
The LED display is really good and give a feel of carrying and holding a nice gadget.
It supports 3G Sim card and as per my understanding 5-6 users can share the connection.
The battery back up is also good and may last for 4-5 hours.
Overall the product is good and i appreciate D-Link for bringing such kind of uniquely designed product as an affordable price.

Excellent 3G Router with Battery Backup
Bought this 7 months back. So far I am extremely satisfied with the performance and reliability of this router. The management interface is easy to use. The battery backup is extremely good. Hibernate and sleep functions work great.
What I dislike:
1. There is no USSD feature. Its a pain not knowing the correct balance. I use a software to track the usage. Its around 90% accurate.
2. You have to press the power button a long time to turn on the device when running on battery.

Good product especially for Linux laptop users and wifi tablet users
Product worked out-of-box. Good speed and reliability. Default settings in the router worked for BSNL 3G connections. USB connection provides LAN interface and makes this work like a USB dongle.
Linux users will benefit since no dialer and s/w settings required. 3G/2G switching is done by the router on the move without any change initiated from laptop/tablet based dialer.
Device is light, but bit bulkier that it appears.

Had to Replace Router through D-link (Review of Replaced and old Router)
New Review
The Replacement from D-link took almost 15 days. Had to Painstakingly register the product, then complain and then ask for replacement. Good thing was that the product was replaced at home, no need for customer to run around.
The New router delivers on all the features and works excellent. that's why bumping up the stars. However I am concerned about the heating of the device.
Will recommend the Company and Product for its after sales service.
