Daawat-E-Ishq is a love story of Tariq Haidar, aka, Taru and Gulrez, aka, Gullu. Taru, who runs his ancestral restaurant, Haidari Kabab, falls in love with Gullu, a shoe-sales girl who dreams of getting married to a sophisticated man. However, her father can barely afford to pay hefty dowry demanded by such prospective grooms. In her quest to find her Mr. Perfect, she meets Taru.
