    Description

A Dance With Dragons is the long-awaited fifth instalment of G. R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series.

    Summary of the Book

Winter is coming. It rushes towards Westeros with rage and unforgiving momentum. Daenerys Targaryen waits in the east, rallying her barbarian hordes as she raises her three Dragons. On the Wall, Jon Snow stands as the 998th Commander of the Night’s Watch. He has yet to face his greatest foes within the Night’s Watch, and the dreaded Others who command dangerous powers. Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf with a sharp tongue, has escaped from King’s Landing, and from his death sentence. He seeks vengeance against his father and he also considers journeying east, to Daenerys. The Seven Kingdoms shake as terrors of war pass through them and as always, Winter is coming.

    Absolutely brilliant

Name of the Series : Song of ice and fire Author : George RR Martin Score : 85/100

Ok. I cant wait to tell you until this series is finished. Imagine you were living in the 50’s when Tolkien was writing LOTR and you had the chance to read it , book by book. Well that’s what is happening now with Song of ice and fire by George RR martin. We are witnessing a classic in progress. Here is an author with the guts to deviate from Tolkiens world of magic and fantasy to give us a gritty realistic v...

May the winds of winter arrive soon!

After the dull Feast for Crows, this one proves to be a cracker.. By far the largest of the series, but still the book keeps you glued to its pages - with the story line & the finishing almost as good as the storm of swords and the plot that unfolds to be bigger than ever.

But then that is not all. While the plot keeps going good, what's the need of leaving storylines without any ending at all when the book ends? Dany and Jon are the only two major characters whose story-lines reach an endi...

    Epic Scale

George R. R. Martin outdoes himself here, going to great lengths to piece together all the chunks of this masterpiece. The cliffhanger was awesome. Holding my breath for the next one!

    Pros:-Great plotline
    -Intricate characters
    -A riveting read
Cons:Not really a con but, you'll need patience to go through this tome.
    Happy Read!!

    gripping.....

Well if you have read the previous five book of the series...you feel.an urge to finish these book to know the fate of your favourite characters...
The book takes a long time to get interesting though...somehow the pacing of the book is not as fast as the previous books by Martin. I felt the story dragging itself..but in the end it placed itself nicely for the last two books...
Overall you will be satisfied to some extent after reading the book...one last thought ..dont get too attached to th...

    Best of The Series

man, i was blown off after reading this book. George R R Martin sure does know how to pick a pen & write. Cheers man.
after drooping the storyline a bit in book 4, book 5 sure does start with a BANG.. lets wait & see what events turn out till book 7. and even when we'll get to see the last book in the series of Song of Ice & Fire.

Was it worth the wait? NO

Thankfully I only got into this series in 2005, so I only had to wait a few months for A Feast for Crows. But this....it just doesn't seem worth the 6 years it took. Most of the storylines in the book seemed to meander without getting anywhere, and considering how this book was to be a return to three of the arguably most popular characters, I didn't like what most of them were reduced to.
I'm still going to grab the next book the moment it comes out, but I have to say, that same level of ant...

    Got What I Saw! Perfecto!!!

I was looking for this book and got it here at a great price with discount. Its PAPERBACK. Note that. Page quality is good. It is completely readable and the story is great. Buy this at a bargain rather than the Hardcover copy which costs approx 6 times of this. The rest is upto you. To sum it up, its NOT A FAKE.

    a great epic in making

Really looking forward to the next two books and I am going to grab it the moment they are released. Its really hard to beleive the depths and aspects GRRM covers in his story telling.

    Unbeatable splendour

If you're looking for a fantastic piece of fantasy-fiction, this is it. I like this book as fanatically as I like Tolkien and sometimes maybe even more. Its dark, its cold and its downright dirty. Winter is coming!

(You should read all the previous books in the series first to fully appreciate this one.)
