    Hauntingly beautiful

the stories and poems in this book might be dark , but they are funnily true. There are shades of people we know, stories we have overheard and some poems that we will not understand long after the book is over.

The poems and stories both are complimentary and almost and extension of each other. My favorite story is Tamanna which is a lovely tale of friendship and sacrifice. Mos tof the other tales about loss of love and the pain that we live with forever or till a new love fills the heart....

Creativity at its best in dark notes

As mentioned in the promising blurb, this book is a creative amalgam of three forms of story-telling; prose, poetry and plays. The book is an exquisite and sensitive portrayal of myriad of emotions in every piece. The simplicity of narration packed with the punch of elements of mystery, philosophy and realism makes every pick a journey in itself. The author successfully takes the reader into the deep, dark corners of the human mind.

I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading fictio...

    The Dark side of Light

A must read for all the poetry lovers. A well written combination of prose , poetry and script writing. The subject engages with the readers well , so the doesn't bore you during the read. The first attempt for the author in prose and the author scores in the area. The poetry section at the start is very good and this should be in the reading list for all the bibliophiles. The combination of all these with different genre and different subjects makes it a good read.

Face the Dark Light without Fear

Only some books have the effect of passing the emotions written by the author to the minds of the reader. The Dark of the Light is one such book that connects the authors mind with that of the reader. The readers can quite well associate with the poetic verses in between without any confusion and the short stories that look poetic in the start and the truth strikes that it is a story when we read each story's end. The book was a fascinating read with a 200 pages. I hoped that it could have be...

    Embrace the dark side.

Sanil has experimented a lot with writing styles, and offers in this book poems, stories and scripts that stay true to the theme. Loved how human nature is explored in the stories. Very simple and easily understandable sentences, yet they cut a deep impact. Highly recommended.

    The Darkness relived and reimagined!

Travelling through the negative mind as we have known or being portrayed is a genre by itself, but Sanil Sachar takes it to a whole new level. Sometimes I think how he has been able to think through the thought of the thought.

The climax that he weaves at the end of the story is a sheer brilliance in prose and in such short captivating mastery of language and narration, he holds the attention span till the end of ever story.

That darkness can be celebrated is not often that you come across,...
