Very engrossing unputdownable at parwith other similar books on the same topic. Indian history is very vast and has a wealth & treasure of such accounts in Urdu language waiting just to be discovered and translated in Hindi or English. Book lovers and lovers of Indian history shouldn't miss it and read and reread it. A pride among the similar books on the shelf of my jewels.

I remained glued to it untill I was half way through. A very vivid and touching account.

Even after getting the it replaced, the book was not in a very great condition. The dust jacket was in such a state.

in no way this can be termd as a narrative of 1857 struggle. the writer does not address many important events or rather he addresses his visual narrative only and his or his family tough times

Very nice descriptions and in detail information about the mughal era.
