About the Authors

Christopher Zappe is the Provost at Gettysburg College. He is the former Dean of Arts and Sciences at Bucknell University, teaching in the Management department. A graduate of DePauw University, he attended Indiana University and majored in Decision Sciences. He has also taught at the College of Business Administration at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He has taken courses on business statistics, decision modeling and analysis, and computer simulation in the department of management at Bucknell University.

S. Chris Albright is the Emeritus Professor of Decision Sciences at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. A graduate of Stanford University, where he studied Mathematics, he later completed his Ph.D. and went on to study Spreadsheet Modeling for Optimization, Statistical Analysis and Simulation. He is also interested in Developing Excel Add-ins for Statistics, Statistics for Research, Stochastic Models in Management Science, Quantitative Methods for MBA Core, Web Page Development and Database Access with .NET, Data Mining and VBA for Excel.

Wayne L. Winston is the Emeritus Professor of Operations & Decision Technologies and the John & Esther Reese Professor at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He studied Mathematics at MIT and went on to pursue his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Yale University. He is interested in the areas of Spreadsheet Models, Applied Probability, Dynamic Programming, Quality Control, Math and Sports.

Awesome book on data analysis.

This book has all the concepts related to data analysis. It takes you from the basics to the highest models that are in use. Good for the beginner's. The cd however is on a trail period so the down side is this.
