Since my first year I have been reading the same data structures and every time I through the same books. In the past I read them just for the sake of exams and getting marks.

This book was referred by my senior who wrote GATE exam this year. I first read only Searching chapter and in that liked the Negation technique and it its variants.

Author narration is very lucid and well connected.

If we can get such books for all subjects, they will definitely help all students.

Earlier, I used to follow cormen and ullman books for data-structures. This book I purchased after looking at my friend and reviews.

It is very helpful and it has presented the concepts in easy and straight to the points.

I specially liked the master theorems for divide and conquer and subtraction and conquer.

A must book for every computer Science student. It is very useful for GATE preparation as well as for placements. Every topics is covered with ample number of examples using C programming. The questions which have been chosen for solved examples is really awesome!!

This is one of the best books I have read so far in Data Structure and Algorithms.It explains every topic in very precise and lucid manner,starting from scratch. In addition to that, it contains solutions to all previous GATE questions with proper explanation. I secured 339th rank in GATE 2013 and this book really played a vital role during my preparation.

This book gives a good overview and a good set of examples on various data structures, and is pretty good for starters, multiple solutions are shared and is a good read. Delivery of the product is clean as always.

This is the best book you would find to prepare DSA for GATE. Although this doesn't cover and anyone book can't cover the whole syllabus of DSA. But this is the by far best way to start building the fundamentals and has awesome questions at the end of each chapters to make those concepts stronger.

Sir Suggested me this book for the preparation of GATE examination
i studied this book throughly and it is one of the best book out there. I always followed standard books like Tanenbaum for Data structure and i found this book a lot better than tanenbaum
I would definitly recomend this book to all the B.tech students for their university examination and to students who are preparing for GATE
