First impression
This book is like a workbook. The given material can be memorized and a very good compilation. If you want to learn something new and practically apply those you got to go for standard books like CLRS.

This book is really good for beginners , everything are explained in lucid manner .... I liked it ..... and would like to recommend to any one who likes or studies data structure .... :)

90% of the book is the same as the Coding interview question, which is also by the same author. I would suggest to buy the "coding Interview Questions" instead of this one as all the material in this book is covered in that plus it covers addtional topics like OS, Networking and Brain teasers. For more practice, "Data structures and Algorithms for Gate" by the same author can be supplemented.
I would not recommend this book over those two.

If you are a college fresher this book is a godsend , but beware the first edition was full of error - this second edition is edited well in comparison, however the questions themselves are worth the money alone, so you can't go wrong.
