Book contain many coding errors. In some cases they have not considered all the possible cases while writing code.

this is very good basic algorithms book for data structure.no need to follow any other book, this book is more enough for data structure and algorithms.

i was expecting this book to explains in and outs of datastructures and algorithms but it was more like interview question and answers useful while job searching.

i have around a dozen ds and algo related books but this one is the best written by an indian author.

Not able to read much...but book looks to give different treatment to Data structure learning. May update with more details later.

this is not a good book......any indian writer can never be perfect....waste of money
go to the first chepter there are many miss print let us see a little example f(n)=n
so find O
he has written f(n)=O(n square),s.t c=1 and n0=1.
but let us check
if i write n=n so his complexity is greater then me so he has done the worst case and similar mistake you can check.
these are big mistake for computer eng.

There is less theory and more questions. All the program in this book can be found on internet,but you have to search for it. This book is the collective questions of all questions related to DS and algo.

Some of the program contain error,which i feel is good because than you have to apply your brain to do those program which is real learning in my point

This book presents the concepts in new style which are useful for strong base.

have purchased this book a year ago , and the concepts and basics of data structures are very well explained and also provides a variety of questions for interviews and GATE aspirants...
the one, who wants to learn data structures from scratch should definitely go for this book...

This book is great for all the people who want to understand the data structures . There are questions in the end of every chapter making the conceptcrystal clear. The one star deducted is only due to some programs illustrated having compilation issues when you run them in your system. Apart from it , this is best book you can get for DS.
