Description
*Le Baiser (The Kiss) (1925)- A mother clasping and embracing her kid is depicted in Le Baiser (The Kiss), which is an obscene perversion of the time-honored concept of maternal love. Le Baiser, like many of Picasso's most daring and intransigent works, takes issue with Western painting's mainstream tradition, and the violation of traditional motherhood notions has an exact mirror in the violation of traditional motherhood images. Picasso, as is customary, liked to work in classic pictorial genres. Boys regard their fathers as 'their competitors in love, whose elimination could not fail to be to their advantage,' according to Freud. Girls regard their mothers as 'their rivals in love, whose elimination could not fail to be to their advantage,' according to Freud. We see the mother and son's sexual bonding and sense their hatred in Le Baiser. ******** PABLO PICASSO (1881-1973) is universally renowned as one of the most influential and celebrated artists of the twentieth century; in terms of art, and art movements that occurred over this period. Before the age of 50, the Spanish born artist had become the most well-known name in modern art, with the most distinct style and eye for artistic creation. There had been no other artists, prior to Picasso, who had such an impact on the art world, or had a mass following of fans and critics alike, as he did. Throughout the long course of his career, he created more than 20,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and other items such as costumes and theater sets. His art career can be divided in major breakthroughs & periods like Blue period, Rose Period, Cubism, Surrealism, Neoclassicism & Sculpture. ******** 'DECOR ADVENTURES' Brand Creative & Innovative Wall Decor Frames with State-of-the-Art, fresh & new themes, ideas & features; Presenting a new range of wall decor frames made out of timeless & classic paintings by world famous artists.
