DEEJAY Coconut Plant  (Hybrid, Pack of 1)

DxT Sampoorna is a cross between Malayan Yellow Dwarf (MYD) and high yielding West Coast Tall (WCT) of Kerala. It’s a successful product of Deejay Farms. It is ideal general purpose hybrid, suitable for both tender coconuts and mature coconuts. It is a early yielder-first flowering starts within 36 months after plantation. It produces large number of high quality nuts – upto 250 nuts per annum per tree. When harvested for tender coconuts, yield improves by approximately 30%. The tender coconut at 7 months contains 350-500 ml sweet coconut water. Mature coconut contains approximately 210 grams of copra. So, approximately 9,187 kgs of copra can be produced per annum per hectare and approximately 5 tonnes of coconut oil can be produced per hectare. Sampoorna is highly recommended for commercial farm.
