I did read a few chapters from a borrowed copy. And I loved it. This book... it's a masterpiece in the treasury of Indian writers.

worth to read

This Khushwant Singh book is truly a magnum opus...he has weaved almost eight centuries into 400-odd pages and is a complete entertainment, both in terms of general reading and for people who want to know about the city's past...hats off...!!!

The most wonderful element of Khushwantsinghs writing is it cannotr be compered to any other writers writing and Delhi takes you for a ride down the lane but still keeps you very much to the present. once you start reading you are afraid it would end. faboulous piece of work to the last page. Khushwant Singh is simply a king on Indian history.

Disappointed.. had greater expectations from khushwant singh.. This novel ia poor adoption of NCERT history... To be politically correct, already distorted history has been turned into even more propaganda by hiding behind fiction.

Would not recommend at all.
