As usual , great service as well as delivery by flipkart . I am using this since one day in USB 2.0 , it gives speed of about 15-35MBPS . Which is nice . About 931GB space is free . There is also nothing to set up. Just great product by Dell.

Obviously can be a best competetor for Seagate and WD, as it has a good design , plastic finish is also great , Cable is also fairly long and after formatting give speed close to 18 MBPS , great product from Dell also the prices have come down.

All l'll say that apart from I TB storage and compact size and beautiful design, it has nothing else remarkably good.
And I almost forgot to mention that it has a dell logo but still comes for cheap ( WOW ). This can happen only in dreams so if you want to dream come to flipkart and place an order for this ace

The last and the least : It promise you good speed but soon it will be history in your mind and on the box that it comes in

I bought this hdd before 8 months at rs3700 . I had got it just within 2 days of order.Thanks to Flipkart. It is a nice hdd but the body is very weak.
pros:-
1.high data transfer rate. huge file are copied at a speed of upto 90MB/s via USB3.0 port.
2.good aftersales warranty. My hdd did not work after 4 months of use after getting a minor shock. it fell from a table but hung with the cable. but it stopped working. my hdd was replaced within a week.thanks to dell.

Once again Flipkart is fabulous when it comes to price and delivery time. Got it before the promised time.

Product looks average, only just started using it so cant say much about performance. But it doesn't have an elegant look like My Passport. Very simple cover on hard disk. Looks like a cheap Chinese product. Hopefully it will perform better.

dell harddisk is good but file transfer speed is low..still best for the price arnd 3500.buyers you can buy this .its a good deal if price falls below 3500..flipkart delieverd me on time..good to use..and best for me..i bought it for 3700..you cana wait till price drops

as far as price is concerned ..it is cheapest in 1 TB range..compared to other products..

but when I come to the point of speed...it is not up to the mark..
initially it's speed was more than 30 mbps..
after few minutes..speed gradually decrease to 18 mbps...
overall I recommend this product....as 3 star..

I was delighted to see that Dell offered a USB 3.0 1 TB portable hard drive at a very decent price at flipkart, so I bought 3 of them. When I opened the package, I was happy to notice that the finish was good. I went ahead, and started copying my DVD/BD backups to this drive through my laptop's 3.0 port, and...the problem started!!!
