Build quality : neat and matte finish so its not a fingerprint magnet, beware not to drop it since it could break. I have another HD with full metal enclosure which accidentally fell from over 2 ft and still working, whereas the DELL could break so handle with care

i faced the same problem as mentioned by siddharth shekar before me
the speed was just 30mb/s,
but when i disabled the windows aero functions, the speed increased to 90mb/s.
probably because of just 2gb ram

Average transfer rate is 21 Mbps when used with usb 2.0 laptop. Got delivered on the third day after ordering. Price is around 500 bucks less compared to seagate. Standard size and weight. I'm happy with its performance.

I copied file (Music, Video, Images, PDF) using Tera Copy Pro and got an average writing speed of 25 MB. Speed varies to 31Mbps. Till now not read anything from Hard Drive. I have used this hard drive on USB 2.0 port.

Placed the order on August 2nd. Received the Hard Disk on the 5th, a day early than the stipulated date. Packing was excellent and I was very happy with the product condition. There was some confusion from Bluedarts side( they said Item Not Shipped although it was)
After a quick format I started backing up my data from my laptop ( about 380 GB ). Got an average speed of 15 MB/s on USB 2.0

The hard disk is actually manufactured by Seagate and has the same specifications as that of Seagate Bac...

i'm using usb 2.0, i get speed of around 25-20mbps while copying movies.

on usb 3.0, i believe the speed will be around 60-80mbps.

I have been using this product for over a month now and based on that I would say its excellent. Data transfer rate is 20-25 Mbps with USB 2.0 since my laptop doesn't have USB 3.0. Go for it without any worries. Highly recommended.
