Worthless
I brought this product and within few months of its use, it failed to connect to my PC. First i thought it maybe the cable issue but later it was found that it had dead as informed by dell service engg. Since, it was under warranty i got the replacement but all my data in older drive was lost.

Terrific purchase
Works very well. Has a plastic body so it is pretty flimsy compared to my sony HDD which has a metal casing but the plus point is the usb cable comes off with the adapter if you like, so I can use the same cable with my other laptop's internal HDD and use that one as external HDD too.
