Got this portable Hard Disk for very good price and its worth the price.

Pros:
1. Best price on Flipkart. If you are planning to buy an HD for 4-5k, go buy it (on Flipkart ;)). It will save you some money.
2. Even on my 5 year old desktop with Intel Pentium 4 processor(USB 2.0) it gives 30-40 MB/s WRITING speed. (Maybe because of RAM, I have 3 GB DDR3 on that badass!)
3. The HD does feels plasticky when you touch it but at this price it gives you more than expected!
4. 2 years warranty!...

At its price range i think i got a jackpot, absolutely good product to buy and more over it has got USB 3.0 which is a big boost i mean super speed, i have a HP Pavilion 15 b140tx which has two ports of 3.0 it copies like charm :D kudos to Dell. everything was ready when i opened it :) nice packing by flipkart as usual they deliver on time in fact they delivered me two days before Awesome filpkart :)

An ideal deal anyone would love to go with. Well priced and you get it way ahead of the promised time. I was happy with the packaging and this Hard drive is a really tough one. I've dropped it twice in the first week itself but no damage to the product. File transfer is also pretty fast compared to other hard drives. Worth every penny. I would say go for it.

Best 1TB HDD in this price

Dell HDD 1Tb has USB 3.0 & it also works on USB 2.0 as its having the same USB plug. So can use with any laptop or desktop. You need not format it as it is ready to use.The speed on USB 2.0 for reading & writing was 30 & 25 Mbps resp for movies & large files. But the speeds on USB 3.0 are just amazingly jet fast. I have copied around 500Gbs of Data in a single transfer & without any problem. Its manufactured by Seagate technology & its hardware inside....

Have been transferring my data non-stop for 7 hours.The harddisk is not heating up.and thats good.
There is no sound coming from the HD.Runs Smooth like Butter.
