I happy to say that this battery has performed flawlessly since the time I bought it and is still working at its best performance with my Dell Inpsiron 1545 laptop. At the time of writing this review with just my web browser open and WiFi enabled, Windows 7 is showing 5 hours of battery backup.

Dear Friends I purchased the Battery For my Dell Inspiron 1545.Although the delievery took around 4 days but it was worth waiting for this product.It is 100% original product from dell an around 1000 INR cheaper than the Local Retail Outlets and many of them doesn`t even have 9-cell product.

This product is not even available from original seller india. the price diff is about 40% less that the original sellers price. Genuin product. Was a bit unluck as there where 2 holidays and a sunday in ordering and receiving so may be took more time that what ppl experince so far.

Battery lasts 4-6 Hours(Avg.) [depends on use]. Just few gms heavy than 6 cell battery, but doesn't feel bad when weight compared to Backup. Best battery for my Inspiron 1525. It brought my laptop back from the Dead.

In picture it shows Dell written on battery. But, the actual battery doesn't have Dell written anywhere. It looks like a duplicate one. Would suggest customers to go for cheaper ones if they have to buy non branded ones.

Battery is just superb after 1 year full performance without any issues. Wanted to share this , initially was bit skeptical whether this is be compatible and fit my laptop, but it did and performing till date superbly.guys go ahead and purchase it. :)

info after 2 months usage:

1.You will get 3 hr. backup with heavy usage(internet,wifi on,gaming etc) on medium usage 3.5-4 hr.

2.slightly Bigger.than 6 cell

3.u may feel unsafe while carrying,bcs of the extra space

Full marks to flipkart for sourcing and dispatching a battery for 5 year old laptop in 5-6 working days !

As of now the laptop is giving 3-4 hours of backup time.

Battery was crashed within a year but unable to give it back to flipkart due to other issues. Please ensure while sending such gadgets
