I have been using this laptop for almost 6 months now and I feel that it's worth buying.

1) Battery : On normal brightness levels and simple work like surfing, reading, music etc, the battery will last about 6 hours on continuous usage. You can play games as well which drain your battery very fast due to heavy usage of processor and video card. In that case, you can expect a battery backup of around 1 hour.

Well I don't own it yet.... But waiting for the 16GB ram one to come to India.

Its a great laptop, but if you want even better performance then check Lenovo Ideapad Y510p, available for approx. 10k less, it has better processor(i7 Mobile version rather than ULV one found in Dell & HP) & a bit better GPU..........

Excellent build quality. Great screen if you can get over the reflective glossy surface.
A little on the expensive side when compared to the hp with similar config. But this one looks like it will wear well. Worth it.

I always wanted such a beauty. Flipkart delivered it in less than 24 hrs. just to check the battery life I watched some videos over wi-fi with full brightness, sound and battery lasted 3 hrs. I think it would survive almost 5-6 hrs easily if used optimally which is good considering the display quality and screen size.
the only thing disappointed me is the bag with this product. it is very small , you can't just fit it into that, I will have to buy a new one.
