Processor
A powerful Intel Atom Z2580 dual core processor that clocks at 1.6 GHz powers the tablet, lending fluidity to the interface and speeding up app launches. Multitasking also becomes easier on the device. With 2 GB RAM support and Intel HD graphics, heavy games have high detailing, giving you an immersive gaming experience without any lag.
Operating System
The Venue 7 runs on the Android v4.2.2 operating system – the Jelly Bean brings to you a buttery interface that you will find easy to work on with its actionable notifications letting you choose your priorities. Graphics are also better and battery management is tweaked to be better.
Display & Design
Large enough for entertainment to be involving yet sleek enough to fit on the palm, the Venue 7 has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen that comes with WXGA resolution to display visuals with HD quality. The IPS display ensures that you have great viewing angles regardless of where you are looking from and the device supports multitouch as well ensuring that you can use more than one finger at a time to multitask better.
The device itself is only 0.37 inches thick and built light to ensure that the Venue 7 fits right into your on-the-go lifestyle.
Camera
The tablet comes armed with a 3 megapixel primary camera to let you capture that shot you find impressive in a jiffy. Capable of video recording as well, the Venue 7 has a VGA camera in front as well to put a face to your video chats.
Battery
With a 4100 mAh integrated battery powering it, the tablet can give you up to 6.8 hours of run time – ample to browse, listen to music, catch up on social networks and watch videos to your heart’s content without having to worry about charging wires and ports.
Connectivity
The tablet ensures that you are always connected to the Internet, it comes with dual band Wi-fi support and optional 3G/HSPA+ connectivity to give you good browsing and download speeds, no matter where you are.

A good enough tablet for home usage.
This tablet comes with Android 4.3 out of the box. If not then you can always update the OS from system update which is the first thing I recommend that you do. With Android 4.3 you will get the ability to have multiple users on a tablet which is helpful when using in a shared manner like I use it.
Update: Dell Venue 7 in India has received Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.

Complete value for money....

worth to price
what i expected from dell venue 7, that is complete
1. HD quality screen.
2. 3g, HSPA+ support with micro sim
3. touch is very smooth and also scrolling
4. loading is very fast both net and other
5. camera 3mp and vga, but i m not worry about it
6. no voice calling but make it through whtapp, viber etc (that is config some difficult but not is big)
