    Good Phone - Competitive features

I was a bit hesitant about the phone initially since one does not see a lot of Dell phones out in the open these days. However, the main reasons I went in for the Dell Venue were:
    a) Large screen size (4.1 inches)
    b) Good screen resolution (480x800 Pixels)
    c) AMOLED screen
    d) Gorilla glass display
    e) 1GHz Processor
    f) 8 MP camera
For the price I paid for this phone, I think it is an amazing deal since other phones with most similar features cost you a lot more. For example the Sony Ericsson...

    Dell Venue Problem

This is my personnel experience with Dell Venue. Dell Customer service is really very very very bad. In fact, no support. First piece which I received never switched on. So replaced the piece with another piece, that piece display went off suddenly. I am not a Mobile illiterate. Using various Mobile phones since 2003. Presently using i phone 4. I planned to buy this Mobile as it had 8 MP Camera, as even its next version Dell Streak has only 5 MP Camera. Planned never to buy any Dell Product, ...

    Great Phone.!

I Have been using Dell venue from past 6 months and it works Great. If you are fond of bulky, smart, high featured phone in affordable price this is the right choice.
As promised 8MP camera picture quality is too good.
    Drawbacks :
1.Its internal memory. Out of 1GB you get only 500mb to use.
    2.No updates till date.

    Good phone at cheap price

The only bad thing about this phone is speaker, it really becomes difficult to hear in a crowded are which i never experience in my previous phones. Moreover you have to speak loudly.

The good this is the screen, its crystal clear. 8MP is okay but not that great. The processor is also nice and I never had any hanging issues.

    Awesome features ,poor battery life

I agree with most of the reviews in here that you will not find better features with any other mobile in this price range.

I have a pretty good knowledge of gadgets, I will say that the battery life is big let down. If i am using GPRS and GPS at the same time, a fully charged battery will drain out in less than 2 hours.

Also the UI is not much customized as compare to Samsung, Moto or Sony smart phone.

Any way with this price tag I am satisfied, and would recommend future buyers to buy an ...

    Still Runs On 2.2

No update from dell even though this product was launched in dec. 2010. Nowadays a phone worth 8k runs on 2.3+ and this phone is still running on 2.2. More it has many bugs which cannot be solved without an update. It also feels heavy on hand. So my verdict do,not buy it go for HTC or Samsung but not a DELL NEVER.

Amazing phone at the given price

At this price- It is the best phone one can get. 4.1 inches screen and all the basic apps available. Though android 2.2, it was not much of an issue for me. The speed is like all other phones of similar processors. Though a lil heavy in weight, the design is supreme. Especially the matted feel at the back and the slightly curved screen.
