The laptop is fairly slim though it has a optical drive. It has a textured panel on the top which is good and the matt black color gives it a simple look. It takes less than a minute to boot the laptop. I disabled few startup apps and Services from task manager which improved the booting time. Though it has a 8th generation core i5 CPU the performance is slow at times. Apps don't respond on a single/ double click and take time to load. This is a very good budget laptop. I have used a Dell Vostro before and also laptops from like Lenovo Thinkpad , HP and Acer. I had purchased a HP last year but compared to it this Dell machine has much better build quality. The only issue I have is the screen colours are not very accurate or vibrant but that can be forgiven considering that this is not a top of the line series from Dell.

the laptop looks stunning and I love it it has fingerprint sensor that unlock nicely ....it has a huge mouse pad that supports multi gesture support I got a CD free that can be installed all apps that already installed in laptop in case it had been uninstalled I love it's design and it has anti glare screen that not define in specs of it. ......love to use it It take 3 hours am writing this further I wrote more about it so thanks Flipkart

The Laptop is fabulous ! fast and smooth as expected ! only issue with delivery was that the delivery guy refused to deliver the product doorstep ! i had to personally get the product from the delivery hub in my city ! After going through lots of reviews on this product, ichanged my mind from buying Lenovo IP330 to Dell Vostro since Dell is more estb brand .
but that was a big mistake.
The product have nothing to do with the estb brand Dell .
The laptop is too slow even with i5 8th gen .But nobody ever mentioned it in any reviews . I mean slow in the sense , takes time to boot up and also to open an application. but once u have opened and closed the app and the next time you open, it opens within no time . ...

Best laptop in this budget. Battery backup is impressive. Design is good too but display doesn't have enough saturation and contrast. Overall it's a best product and value for money.

The product was good worth for money .... Only recommended for college students if you are a gammer or a high graphics software used then don't go for this. If you want to do small project then u can buy it. Everything was good its beyond the expectation.

Here comes the Review of this product after using it for a week..
This DELL VOSTRO 3480 has a nice design and the top cover prevents minor scratches as you can she it doesn't have a Glossy Finish..
I've captured the dimensions with Measure app from Google for reference which are almost accurate.
It doesn't have a Disk drive.. comes with an in-built finger print scanner equipped with the power button that also scan our fingerprint..
Keyboard is very smooth with good typing experience..

No issues, just hard drive stuck some times, but that is all you can purchase in this range in brand like dell ( If you wan't same specs like this ), I am college student and it is perfect for me, note that I don't play games.
If you are programmer like me and used to code in in nght, the keyboard may bodher you but I bought wireless baklight keyboard, you can do that too!
