He earned his PhD degree from University of Leeds, UK, and has taught at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai; Regional Engineering College, Calicut; Lanchester College of Technology, Coventry, UK; Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and the Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal. He was also Visiting Professor at the University of Basrah, Iraq. Dr Krishna Raju has published over 60 research papers in reputed journals and is the author of Design of Concrete Mixes, 5/e; Advanced Reinforced Concrete Design, 3/e; Prestressed Concrete Problems and Solutions, 3/e; Design of Bridges; Design and Drawing of Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures; Numerical Methods for Engineering Problems; Advanced Mechanics of Solids and Structures and Prestressed Concrete Bridges.
