Book is average and specially if compared to 'if God was a banker' not upto the mark. Ravi Subramaniam one of my best author delivers his thought (can be also called suspense thought) in a best way by showing multiple stories at the begining and corelating each other at the end of novel.

Devil in Pinstripes is one of the best works on corporate world and politics. Though the writing is not good but the story is excellent. I have heard that the organization mentioned in this book is actually Citifinancial. If God was a banker was on Citibank and this also on Citi. Seems the author has some special inclination towards the bank. Chetan Bhagat has also mentioned this Bank in 2 states. Ravi did not use Citi's name in The incredible banker so it proved to be a flop show.

Again a good book by author.

The last few pages hold the whole key. thats interesting too keep hold on till the last moment and very twist there.

a good read, if you ever had a sales exposure or exposure in credit or collection as i do have.

Read this book after reading Ravi Subramanian's The Incredible Banker and The Bankster. Its a good book but after having read the bools mentioned above, didn't enjoy that much. Though it is engaging and can be finished at one go. If you have not read the books mentioned above, you'll like it but otherwise you won't,surely.

this was not expected from ravi s. there was nothing in this which could hold anyone's nerve. very much predictable and understood from begining. incredible banker and the bankster are much2 better than this.

This is a must read for all in the Corporate World. This will take you through he dirty corridors of the corporate politics.

The book is well written, engaging and an eye opener for all who are about to enter the pofessional world.

This is not an epic book,a more or less chetan bhagat style of writing,but yes it is worth reading once.
covers the extent of politics and power plays in large organizations,the author definitely knows about what he is writing

The book is quite naively written and takes a very one sided view of a system. somehow for someone who has been in the system for quite some time, the references are very naive to the extent of being childish. I am quite surprised to see this on the best sellers list off flipkart ! I bought the book assuming it would be good given it was on a best sellers list but was terribly disappointed... in my suggestion, please avoid

This is the second novel written by Ravi subramanian that I read after "Incredible Banker".It is a good novel to read on the whole but I liked the previous one better.While the first one focusses on KYC, this novel is on credit collection.
