Synopsis and Features
A religion called Order of the Sword is showing its true colors. Everyone who was a part of it is now a threat. In the new episode of Devil May Cry, You, as Nero, will be playing as someone who does not stop till he gets what he wants. Trying to expose the darkest of lies, you will be discovering who is really responsible for a gruesome murder. The road to unearthing the truth is rich with challenges. Can you win them all?
Developed and published by Capcom, Devil May Cry 4 adds in many new elements that contribute in making your gaming experience a whole lot better. The minimum specifications required to run the game smoothly on your computer are Windows XP, a 3.0 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 3000 processor, 8 GB hard disk space, 512 MB RAM and a Nvidia GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon X1300 series graphics card.
The single-player campaign in the game packs in plenty of surprises. The game follows the basic premise where you complete objectives to reach to the next level. The only different element in Devil May Cry 4 is that you have to eliminate every demon in the room before moving onto the next one. You are bestowed with fancy weapons and different fighting styles that help you in taking down the enemies. While the weapons consist of a sword and a gun, the fighting styles include Swordmaster Gunslinger, Trickster, Royal Guard and many others.
The fighting styles are interesting as you can annihilate the enemies in different styles. One of the newest additions to the game includes the Devil Bringer, Nero’s blue arm. Using this you can pull demons from afar and crush them as you deem fit. The gameplay keeps getting interesting as they are puzzles to solve too.
Devil May Cry 4’s strength lies in its stylish action sequences. You can build combos that allow you silence enemies in the most delightful manner possible. You can upgrade and buy new combos by collecting proud souls at the end of every mission.
Reaching the halfway point in the game will allow you to don the role of Dante. This can be a hindrance as you lose the Devil Bringer during these missions. But one of the fantastic things with Dante is his arsenal. With weapons like Pandora’s Box you can shoot rockets at your enemies, turning them into dust. All this adds to the entertainment quotient of the game.
The other mode in the game is known as Legendary Dark Knight mode and playing it fills your screen with countless enemies. You can finish them all easily by triggering the turbo speed option. The animations and sound effects take a special mention as they aid in the replay value of Devil May Cry 4. Every cut scene within the game explains the story bit by bit, drawing you into the narrative. The updates, demos, wallpapers for the game can be directly downloaded from the company’s website.
