I work for an NGO dealing with government schools, and found this book extremely educative and interesting. Recommend anyone that has a kid, works with kids, or just is interested about kids, to read this book. It is a very easy read indeed.

This is an excellent book on learning, and not just for children.
It explains the physiological and psychological aspects of learning, how the human brain is "programmed" to absorb new information, different types of learning, how we form memory and many related topics. In addition, some of the issues in the conventional method of learning and teaching are covered, in a balanced way.

The language is simple, especially for a book which deals in the technical aspects of human mind and learning...
