Ramesh Babu's is the best book out there. Because it covers almost everything you need to know to know DSP well. It covers signals and systems wholly and it covers all of dsp, especially this edition. It even has filter designing included. Ramesh babu also stands out for the amazingly easy approach and language, even a dummy can get this book and go through it thoroughly and become a master of digital signal processing! -_- true story! And it explains every topic clearly with lots of examples.

If u want to just pass in DSP refer this book u can pass. If u want to gain knowledge in DSP then it is not your cup of tea. Refer Oppenheim or Iflitzer. Only simple problems are solved and Derivations are not done completely and the book is filled with errors in formulas and derivations and problems.
