About the Authors

Charles H. Roth taught at the UT-Austin faculty and was the recipient of the General Dynamics Outstanding Engineering Teaching Award. His areas of expertise and interests are Microcomputer Systems, Computer-Aided Instruction and Digital Systems Theory and Design. He is also the author of the most widely used text book Fundamentals of Logic Design.

Lizy Kurian John is the B. N. Gafford Professor in the Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. She completed her PhD in Computer Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. She has also edited a book on Computer Performance Evaluation and Benchmarking.
