Dishonored is an adventure game with elements of action as well. it was developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game has a PEGI rating of 18 for simulated violence and strong language. The game has been set in an age when technology was just being discovered. It also shows a universe where arcane powers exist. This suggests a world where technology and magic exist side by side. The game focuses on stealth despite being an action adventure series.

It consists of a gripping Single Player campaign which can keep players occupied for extended periods of time, and it also has a highly interactive multiplayer mode. You can choose to jump right into the single player campaign or you can also skip it to play only the multiplayer. The game of the year edition of Dishonored follows the exploits of Corvo Attano who is a legendary bodyguard of the Empress of Dunwall.

The story begins when the Empress has been murdered and her daughter gets kidnapped. Corvo is framed for the crimes and imprisoned for it. He is to be executed in six months so that no trace of betrayal remains. Faced with such situations, Corvo takes it upon himself to break free and exact revenge on the conspirators for what they did to him and the Empire.
