We used this book in our college days, i am still using this book now for my work....its awesome and syllabus and course coverage is really very good....every thing is explained in simple language which is very easily understandable...i am enjoying this book a lot...

The author of the book Andrew Tanenbaum was an expert in operating systems. So, most of his books are best resource guide.
