Value for money
The pickle tastes excellent and is not overly spicy. Initially on removing the seal, the flavour of Bishop's weed (ajwain) ('omam' in Tamil) is a bit strong so it is best to start consuming the pickle a few days (7-10 days) after removing the seal. The pickle contains a liberal quantity of mango (pieces). I will prefer to purchase the 1 kg pack as it is more economical.
The only shortcoming (if any) is that almost all the mango pieces are large - it would have better if there had been a mix ...
