This is really wonderful Indian novel depicting the odds of USA. This clearly shows 'Home is always best'.

A poignant novel by Sudha Murty. It’s a story which may seem very ordinary especially to Indians as the theme is familiar. The characters are endearing and close to real life. We can relate them to people whom we know or even to ourselves. It is an endearing story which shows how money can change the attitude of people and the sense of balance in relationships.

this book title named dollar bahu is an excellent book related about common family problems.the story was written in such a way that we feel more interested towards the book.this book has simple language with a good content in it.i suggest kids to read this book as there is a moral to learn and the story is easy to understand. loved it

Wonderful book. One must be read. Sudha Murthy's writing style is so easy to understood and the way she explains the things at lucid manner. Hats off to the Author.

i just finished reading this book....i liked it.the story is simple and clean to know how people make assumptions without knowing anything....sudha has protrayed it in a nice way...n explained the difference between two people...money is important to fulfill our needs...but happiness comes with relationship and good values.i will love to read more books of her.
