Though They Live Under One Roof, They Are Miles Apart From Each Other As If They Are On Two Poles. There Is Unequality Everwhere. Women And Dalit, The Downtrodden Are Also Part Of This Antagonism, The Injustice. The Novel Has The Background Of Konkan Where The Social Antagonism Is Worst. It Throws Light On The Povery, Untouchability And Ignorance And Also The Exploitation In The Name Of Religion And Traditions.
