Synopsis and Features

Doom 3 (BFG Edition) includes the same story that made the original famous. It’s the year 2145 and scientists from Earth have set up a military base on the planet Mars that specializes in teleportation, biological research and advanced weapons production. During one of the experiments, the scientists open a gateway to hell. This results in a mass invasion by demon beings that are hell-bent on destroying humanity. You, playing as a space marine, must now fight and stop the demons before their plan bears fruit.

Developed by Id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks, the new version of Doom 3 now includes a checkpoint save system. The single-player campaign will be longer than the original as it features a new 7 level expansion pack. You can use the same guns that were featured in the original game to eliminate your enemies. One of the major advantages of Doom 3 (BFG Edition) is that you can play the game in 3D.

The newer abilities now allow you to use a flashlight when you are using a gun. This is a great help when you are sneaking into dark places as you can easily spot and finish off your enemies.
