This hat complies with UV protection standards (UPF50+). The main component is cotton. Perforations around the temples to let air to circulate. The hat weighs between 86 and 88 grams depending on the size. UV protection standards for hats are very specific. The fabric must of course be anti-UV (UPF index greater than 50), but this is not enough to claim the finished product is anti-UV. The hat must also have a wide brim which fully protects the face and the neck (7cm). The TRAVEL 100 hat meets these requirements so you can go hiking with complete peace of mind: you will be perfectly protected. The soft cord is comfortable.
