An exhaustingly good book
East of Eden is one of my favorite books and John Steinbeck is a superlative author. Its a serious and stimulating read. It demands your time and attention and deserves it. The book has so much to offer that you might get exhausted trying to soak it all in at one go but you will never tire of it. If Jeffrey Archer novels and short stories are a refreshing pint of beer, this novel is a single malt.

Amazing
One of the best books I have ever read. Amazing and engaging. The story is worth reading over and over again and worth telling. The prose brings the characters alive. The only downside is that the book is quite long. Though its worth it. Go for it.

Worth every penny
This book is an amazing read. The well known story from the Bible, presented in a contemporary style this book keeps one hooked till the very end. The characters are engrossing, in a gripping narrative. Every character brings something to the story and plays an apt part in the layout of the work. The language is simple and understandable, even for beginners. A must read!!

A brilliant study of human relationships
This is the best book I've read in a long, long time. There is great wisdom in it and it's a story beautifully told. For students of life and literature it's a DON'T MISS. I'm glad I read it 25 years after college- at that point it would've been a simple critical appreciation-and that would've been just the beginning!

The cover page isn't that appealing. But the paper quality and read friendly font size makes up for it. This edition is authentic and can be bought. Truly satisfied.
