    Description

Eat, Pray, Love, by Elizabeth Gilbert, is the story of one woman’s search for everything across Italy, India and Indonesia.

    Summary of the Book

At thirty-two, Elizabeth had everything she could ever ask for – a successful career as a writer, a house, and a husband. At least, that’s how it looked for the others from the outside. But she was extremely unhappy and was always in search of something, especially when her marriage failed to function well. After a nasty divorce and a few days of turmoil later, she spent a few months in Italy, India and Indonesia. Her time in different countries made her explore different aspects of life. She indulged herself in the delights of food and discovering the countries, and eventually her journey enabled her to find love and a deep spiritual experience. Elizabeth’s story has been made into a major motion picture, starring Julia Roberts. The book had remained on The New York Times best-sellers list for 187 weeks!

    Its a vacation reading it

Read the book back in 2006. It is the most well written vivid book I have read. I felt like I had gone through Italy and other places myself as I was reading it :)
    Nice, uplifts your mood

    Delightful

This review is only about the condition of the book. I got a new book, no complains about that. It was packed properly and I got it at the right time. I didn't get any book mark though expected one.

    Pure love!

Well, even if you're not spiritual, but feel a tiny inclination to see wonder and purpose in everyday things, this is your book. It approaches self-doubt and self-discovery from a very relatable perspective.
The read doesn't feel long at all, though you may want some time to reflect on what you read, and yes, it can get heavy, but come on, you're on the road to self-discovery too! Elizabeth Gilbert is so good at making a friend out of her readers!

Eat, Pray, Love - a stirring slice of life

A heartwarming book - one that produces a warm glow inside you and has the ability to make you look at life in a completely new way and gives you a new lease on life.

Her experiences - whether it's on the streets of Rome or in an ashram in rural India or in the rustic beauty of Bali - make for a compelling read and the people she meets on her journey all p...
