True to its name, it offers an insight (with lots of statistics) into the Indian Economy's performance over the last fiscal year. Important indices, state of the economy, predictions for the coming fiscal year etc are all given due coverage.

Whether or not the Economy performs as predicted (=expected) is another question altogether and that performance yardstick cannot be used as an excuse to review/critique this body of work.

Purely from a subject point of view, the Survey is an excellen...
