It’s a really good bookshelf speaker for the money. It has some good lows and highs and clear mid. Boomy bass. I have compared this with boat avante 2000 side by side. I just realised how nice would a good bookshelf speaker sound. The build quality is also premium. Wooden finish will add a nice addition to your room deco. Really value for money.

The speakers are delight for Audiophiles! Despite I m not a one! But it brought a Big Smile on my face! I have a Harman Kardon Omni 20+ and it is also 60w rms. But Edifier bas more clear sound whereas HK has more punch.

I own both, edifier 1700 BTS as well as 1280 DBS. 1700 BTS has a higher wattage (66W) and this adds to the loudness of the unit. The monitors deliver perfectly clear output. The eagle eye tweeters are really good. However, if you do not prefer the additional loudness, then both 1280 DBS might be your better choice..

If you love music and want to enjoy every bit of it then only go for it, it will fill your heart. You can't have the same experience from boat, zabronics or even Sony. If you want more bass then I will suggest buy a sub offer along with it. I like classical and soft music so it is just perfect for me. If your budget around 15k close your eyes and go for it. Don't waste your money on soundbar.

Bass is very good for the size. But treble is little harsh to my liking.
