Former Vice Chairman Bihar Intermediate Education Council, Professor of Economics and senior Principal in B.R.A. Bihar University. A multi-faceted personality. He is a scholar, a well-known public figure, a prolific writer, an orator, a debater, a poet, an educationist, a humanist, a social activist, a secular democrat and a firm believer in the rule of law. He has been associated with many institutions, organizations and movements and has wide field experience. He did his Ph.D. on Interest free banking and visited England and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in course of research, and participated in scores of national and international symposia, seminars and conferences both at home and abroad. He has several books to his credit in Urdu, Hindi and English and has written hundreds of articles in the 3 languages on almost every aspect of social relevance. He is a crusader to a just society with a life of equality and dignity to all, particularly, the weak, downtrodden, women, minorities and neglected sections.
