Nisit K. De is an Associate Professor.

De has also co-authored Electric Machines and Electric Drives: Problems With Solutions, Regenerative Braking Performance Analysis of a Thyristor-Chopper Controlled DC Series Motor, Microcomputer as a Programmable Controller for State Feedback Control of a DC Motor Employing Thyristor Amplifier.

De has more than 30 years of teaching experience. He is an associate professor, at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. De has also written various papers, which have been published in national and international journals.

Prasanta K. Sen is an Assistant Professor and Author.

He is the assistant professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Regional Engineering College, Durgapur. He has been teaching Electrical Machines and Machine Design since 1968.
