About the Author
Dr. P.S. Bimbhra retired as a professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (now Thapar University) Patiala. A graduate of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, he received his M.E. (Hons.) and Ph.D. from University of Roorkee: now Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is fellow of the Institution of Engineering (India) and a life member of ISTE. He has published several papers in reviewed journals. His books, have been well received by the technical fraternity for over two decades.
