He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Bristol, U.K. Professor Raina joined Technical Teachers Training Institute, Chandigarh in 1970 as Professor of Electrical Engineering. Earlier he had worked as engineer and manager in the industry in India and in U.K. He has been in technical education administration and management for many years. At Technical Teachers Training Institute, Chandigarh, Professor Raina has made major contribution in the fields of Curriculum Development, technical teacher training and development of teaching-learning materials. He has written text books on "Transmission & Distribution of Electrical Power and Electrical Engineering Materials. In addition, he has developed instructional materials in a number of topics/subjects in both print and non-print form. He has written a large number of technical papers. Professor Raina is Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India).
Dr. S K Bhattacharya is the Director (Academics), Sri Sukhmani College of Engineering and Technology, Mohali, Punjab. Earlier, Dr. Bhattacharya worked as the Director of Hindustan Institute of Technology (Now Sharda University), Greater Noida; Director of National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh and also at NITTTR, Kolkata. Dr. Bhattacharya holds a BE degree from Jadavpur University, ME degree from Calcutta University and PhD degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Rajasthan. He is Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) and the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India). Dr. Bhattacharya obtained specialized knowledge and skill in Curriculum Development, Technical Teachers Training, and Educational Technology through Fellowship attachments in the Netherlands and the UK.
