    The book is very good for a first course in electrical machines.It has got a lots of solved numericals ,graphs etc to support the text.Every chapter has large number of standard questions in the end.Also a collection of MCQs are there at the end of the book from each chapter from competitive exams.Though the topic of three phase transformer is missing but still the book is good for a second year EE undergrad.

    One of the best books in world for electrical machines.& It's low price makes it better. Do not use it initially. First get some basic knowledge from other books then only read it. Not good for fresh reading.

    The book is very good for beginers for machines and is very good for clearing concepts...
    Do refer this book if you have some doubts in the concepts
    But remember this is a course for beginners and is not meant for advanced studies.....

    this book is very complex! first of all you will not be able to find all the topics you need , plus the contents are scattered all over.. the book is written non-linearly and if you are preparing for your college exam or any other competitive exam you will have to study right through the book while keeping the track of stuffs you are missing.     Does the job

    The book was delivered a day before the predicted date. I expected a quicker delivery from Flipkart but that would be fine with me as long as the book would have been in a good condition which also couldn't happen. A part of the back of the book was torn off and the packaging was horrible with a big chunk of the container missing. Flipkart has turned down my expectations this time.

    Very good Book for competitive exams

    This book is a must have for all electrical engineering students who are aspiring to write technical examinations such as IES,GATE. Concepts are explained in a simplified manner and in view with competitive examinations.
    A large number of MCQ's have been provided to get the skills required to solve them in short time.
    The flipkart service was good, received the book 3 days in advance than the estimated shipping date.
    Got 2014 edition book even though it says 2011 edition on the website.
