good for Gate exam if u have about an year for the prep. if time is less then avoid it. so basically i wanna say that the concepts of the book are deeply analysed more from a design perspective.
Such in-depth derivations and analysis are definitely neither needed nor memorisable.


For pure knowledge enhancement, it is one of the bests in the field. combine it with Millman-Halkias or Sedra-Smith to approach perfection.

Best book for electronic student.Both boylestad and neamen are same , but according to boylestad , transistor is current controlled device while neamen explains all concepts by considerin transistor as voltage controlled device.
