It is a good book for electronics but a high level book for sure.What do you expect of late Jacob Millman?Clear and concise explanation.For instance many books skip the derivation part of concentration of electrons in conduction band,but here the derivation part is given.Its actually quite simple,just transform the integral in form of gamma function.But unfortunately SCR,DIAC and TRIAC are not given.Also Field effect transistors are not explained well as conventional bi junctional transistors...

First of all i am thankful to flipkart for delivering this book in one day. This book is well organized and easy to understand. Best book for those who are preparing for GATE and other equivalent exams. Problems given in book are really very helpful to clear the concepts of each discussed topic.

This is one of the best book I have read on electronic devices. I recommend this book highly for the newbies and also for any one who need to get by his examinations. The explanations in this book are very clear and easy to understand.......
