This is a small ferrule connector of grey color. This is built from copper material that has tin plating. Nylon insulation is also provided for short-circuit protection. It is a metal tube used to crimp over the standard wire to secure the strands within a screw terminal. Standard is used in a wide variety of devices. They are more flexible and durable. But the standard wire is more difficult to terminate from the connection because the individual stands tend to separate. That's why the ferrule connectors are used at the end of the wire to place strands together.
