Nice book; For deep study use Levenspiel
The book is written in simple language, and provides a overview of the subject. However if you have to study the subject in deep, you have to opt for Octave Levenspiel. The CD that accompanies the book is pretty useful and the ICMs provided in it are a fun way of learning the concepts of CRE. The living life examples also provide a deep insight to the subject. Overall a good book for beginners.

Well written. But too detailed for Engineers
I've referred Levenspiel for CRE. Although Fogler had additional in-depth topics (Catalytic), the book has a lot of information which can be out of scope for an Engineer.
As a whole, it covers everything which is being taught in class for a standard CRE course. A good book. I would rate it 5 if it wasn't that bulky. Anyways, a 4/5 for this. Had it been as concise as Levenspiel, I would definitelly give it a 5/5.

This book is very well written and very much useful in learning the Chemical Reaction Engineering............
The simple language of explanation and real life examples makes this book must for every person related to the chem. engg, profession.
