Shruti is a Hindustani classical music artist, teacher and historian and author on the music form. She specializes in the Khayaal Gayaki and Thumri genres. She is now the Faculty Head for Hindustani Classical Music, Diploma Programme at the Middlesex University, London and also at KM Music Conservatory, Chennai.
